In spite of what several posters here recommended about absolute screen widths the WP Touch plugin/package follows my own approach which is to use percentage based widths and then embed images/videos scaling to the width.

One approach you could more easily take on this with WordPress mobile templates is supporting the WP Touch mobile themes. it'd be nice to be able to use it for a breadcrumb (or is there an easier way to make breadcrumbs?)Ĭould someone please elaborate on what this means. Just allow us to make the minimum width what ever we want please. For example when creating a mobile theme you'd end up with visually not selecting anything in Artisteer, thus saying "I'm not using any web design features in my mobile template therefore why do I need Artisteer to create mobile template". Thus a theme can have some features not related to web design, while Artisteer is used for visually selecting web design elements. I think the earlier point was: why someone should use a web design product to create simple templates that do not have web design? Why do you need Artisteer for creating a simple version of your website that doesn't have a web design? Other WordPress themes can do this because they are themes, not visual web design products. That's the point and that's the reason why Artisteer should not be used for this.
